Mantra Meditation
A mantra meditation supports you in quieting your mind, and finding calmer levels of thinking, by your mind finding a singular focus with the repetition of its mantra. The mantra is used to anchor the mind, to help settle and focus it.
Mantras are often referred to as vehicles for the mind, because with the repetitive nature of the mantra, often other thoughts will dissipate, leading to greater clarity and stillness.
It can be really handy if you are an over thinker, in finding an anchor with your mantra and focusing on something to support the stilling of your mind.
