Your Teacher //

Maddison Vernon is a meditation, yoga teacher and coach who is passionate about supporting humans to feel rested. She started meditating 10 years ago (quickly giving up because she had too many thoughts) and decided it wasn’t for her. Funny how we often teach what we most need?

In 2016, she studied meditation, sick of waiting until she was ready, she finally invested in herself, figuring she’d learn how to meditate (2 x 20 minutes solo each day) by investing in herself. Fast forward 2 years and she was sharing this gift with everyone. Teaching meditation and mindfulness at renowned studio’s based in Melbourne.

Teaching meditation and mindfulness programs to corporate offices at AFL, Swisse, AIA Health, and presenting at schools and Universities.

Meditation has been apart of her life one way or another for the last 7 years, and she is incredibly passionate about providing these tools and resources to support humans to manage stress, overwhelm, overthinking and general life. Because it’s difficult right, possibly even exhausting? Our bodies and nervous systems were not built for this existence of life. She’s passionate about supporting you to step away from the constant doing (or over doing), to stop being so hard on yourself and to give yourself a damn break. The world needs more well rested humans.

In GROUNDED, Overthinker’s Guide to Mediating we live and embody the MV method: incorporating mindset, movement and mindfulness to create a whole being and body approach to support you in your overthinking journey. Supporting you in clearing noise from your mind, connecting & living from your heart & finally have a consistent meditation practice, saying goodbye to stress stored in your body.

MINDSET //

A firm belief of mine, is if you want to create lasting change, changing your mindset is paramount. we can create space, but if the underlying belief is that it’s not safe to rest, you will fill up your space once more. It’s challenging your own personal beliefs and the structures of our society and upbringing which may be influencing these beliefs.

MOVEMENT //

Our culture has an over identification problem with the mind, my belief to remedy this is by supporting you to be in your body, somatic healing, embodied work to support you with releasing stress stored within your body.

MINDFUL //

This is where we blend mindset, movement, and meditation together to support you in living and leading a mindful life from your heart. This means living with intention and in alignment to what feels good and true for you, it’s also where the magic occurs.
